SIT course 

The SIT course has been designed by the Mindfulness Training Institute, led by my teachers Martin Aylward and Mark Coleman, both accomplished and experienced teachers.

CONTENT

Taught over six weekly, two-hour sessions, the course includes a mix of  guided meditation practices, interactive exercises, home practice, short talks, discussions and Q&A.

Over the six weekly classes, you will  - 

  • discover what meditation and mindfulness are really all about

  • learn various meditation techniques and posture

  • explore how to reconnect with your body and senses

  • reconnect and understand your emotions

  • learn about your stress responses, and how to shift from reaction to response

  • recognise and let go of unhelpful habitual thoughts and mind states

  • experience how kindness can help you release from tightness and pain

  • learn practices to do at home and during your day
